The armed state activates when the doors are closed.
Setting an entry delay time during the transitional time from the armed state to the alarm state prevents the alarm from sounding and flashing by inadvertent operation.
Condition A-1
(1)After removing the key from the ignition key cylinder, the opened driver’s door is closed.
Condition A-2
(1)All the open doors, engine hood and the luggage door are closed.
Condition B-1
(1)The unlock button of the transmitter is pressed.
(2)The key is inserted into the door key cylinder either of the driver’s door or front passenger’s door and turned to the unlock side.
(3)The key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.
Condition B-2
(1)Any of the closed doors, engine hood or luggage door is opened.
Condition C
(1)In the armed preparation state, approximately 30 seconds elapse.
Condition D
(1)One of the doors is opened when all the doors were closed and the entry delay time (approximately 15 seconds) elapses.
(2)The closed engine hood is opened.
(3)The closed luggage door is opened without using the key or transmitter.
(4)Ignition is turned to the ON position without using the ignition key.
(5)The detection signal is input from the intrusion sensor.
Condition E
(1)The locked doors are unlocked or the closed luggage door is opened with the transmitter.
(2)The locked doors are unlocked or the closed luggage door is opened with the key. *
(3)The key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder and turned to the ON position. *
*: On many vehicles for Europe, this function does not work in this condition.
Condition F
(1)The alarm time (approximately 60 seconds) elapses.
Condition G
(1)The luggage door is opened with the key.
(2)The luggage door is opened with the transmitter.
Each mode condition varies depending on area and specification.
