1.Front fog light operation
The front fog light operates when the light control switch is in the TAIL or HEAD position. When the front fog light switch is moved one click to the ON position, the front fog light relay operates and the front fog lights come on.
2.Rear fog light operation
The rear fog light also operates when the light control switch is in the TAIL or HEAD position like the front fog light does. The lever type rear fog light switch comes on when the switch is moved one click further from the front fog light switch ON position.
The rear fog light has a construction to prevent the driver from forgetting to turn off the light. When the light control switch is moved to the OFF position while the rear fog light is on (ON position), the rear fog light automatically turns off.
Once this occurs, the rear fog light remains off even if the light control switch is turned to the HEAD position again. This function is controlled mechanically or electrically depending on the models.
